for District 36 in Northeast Oklahoma.
Eddie is a third generation rancher and businessman raised
in
Wynona
,
Oklahoma
. He graduated from
Wynona
High School
and
Oklahoma
State
University
. Eddie is a member of the
First
Baptist
Church
and has served on the school board of Wynona Public Schools. He has also served
as Past President of the Osage County Cattleman’s Association, Past Director
of the Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association, and Past Associate Director of Osage
County Conservation District and is currently on the Board of Director’s of
Osage County Farm Bureau.
Eddie has been
married for 16 years to Christina, who is a teacher at Cleveland Public
Schools. They have three daughters,
Tailor (8 years old), Jacie (6 years old) and Tristan (2 years old). (See

Eddie believes in limited government along with lower taxes
while supporting the small independent business owner, allowing him/her to
conduct their business as they see fit. He
supports rural public schools and the education process, giving local school
boards as much control as possible. Eddie
also believes in supporting public school teachers and increasing their salary
to regional and national levels which needs to be done through new funding
sources for common education.
Eddie stands firmly for devising new ideas and structuring
proposals to entice new businesses and industry to District 36.
Working with the rural economic and development programs that are in
place now, this can be accomplished. We
need to work with our congressmen and senators to ensure
Oklahoma
gets more federal funding for road and bridge improvement to ensure the safety
of everyone who uses our transportation system which goes along with enticing
new industry and business to the district.
